Both files are produced together, and the PDF is converted from the Word document rather than drawn separately. They are identical, not merely similar. Your client gets a PDF; your accountant gets a file they can edit; nobody gets a surprise.
Each company has its own sequence, starting wherever you choose. The number is reserved in the same transaction that writes the invoice, so a failure never burns one. Cancelling an invoice keeps its number in the sequence. No gaps, no repeats, no quiet renumbering — and nothing to explain later.
Run as many legal entities as you need from one account. Different countries, different designs, different page sizes, different bank accounts, different terms. Your clients and your service catalogue are shared; everything else stays separate.
Clients and services are saved as you invoice, and ranked by how often you use them. Pick a service and its unit, description and rate come with it. The second invoice takes a fraction of the time the first one did.
Cross-border B2B services are outside the scope of VAT, and this was designed for exactly that. The tax line is at 0% with wording you set per company, and your terms & conditions — independent contractor status, governing law, arbitration, payment terms — are printed on every invoice, filled in automatically.
Type 1 250,50 or 1,250.50 and both mean the same amount. Type 1,5 and it stays one and a half, rather than quietly becoming fifteen. Nineteen currencies, each with the right decimals and symbol placement — including the ones with no decimals at all.
The invoice goes out with the PDF attached and an English covering message you can edit, with the number, amount and payment terms filled in. Every send is logged with its result. It will not send an email with nothing attached, and it will not hand your password to a mail server that refuses to encrypt the connection.
Two-factor authentication is not an option here; it is the way in. Password plus Google Authenticator at every sign-in, with enforced enrolment and eight one-time recovery codes.
Beyond that: bcrypt password hashing, session regeneration on sign-in, CSRF protection on every state-changing request including uploads, rate-limited sign-in, a strict content security policy, and zero known vulnerabilities in the production dependency tree.
The application loads nothing from anyone else. No CDN, no web fonts, no analytics, no tracking pixels. The only outbound connection it ever makes is to the mail server you configure.
